Pastor Colin McGie

I was born and raised in the province of Quebec.  I came to know Christ as Saviour at age 9 at a Bible camp nearby. Three years later I was baptized. I attended Champlain Lennoxville in Lennoxville, QC where I received a college diploma in Health Science in 2004.

During this time I wanted a break from secular studies so I enrolled at New Brunswick Bible Insitute in 2004. During my studies there,  the desire to serve in the local church grew and the desire to serve as a pastor grew as well. I met my wife Hannah at N.B.B.I and I graduated with a B.A in Theology (2008).  After graduation, I was called to pastor a church in Port Royal, Nova Scotia where I served for 4 ½ years.  In 2013 Appleton Baptist Church extended a call for me to serve as pastor and I accepted. Hannah and I have been married 12 years, we have 5 children: Sawyer, Isobel & Aili, Liam, and Piper. We have a passion for God being glorified in our lives and trust that by attending Appleton Baptist Church, you will grow in your love for Christ and His people.  So that in all things, Christ is magnified!
